Method Man and Sour Patch Kids

Rappers and musicians aren’t new to the commercial scene but I find unorthodox approaches to advertising entertaining, especially within the candy realm.

Method Man wrote and recorded a track called "World Gone Sour (The Lost Kids)" in association with the first sour, then sweet, chewy candy for Sour Patch Kids. Accompanying the song is a mobile video game, Sour Fling. Here is a brand that is taking steps to think differently about how the public consumes information, using entertainment and technology to stand apart and get noticed.
