  • My itiinal thought is that a brand is a brand when the "promise" line is crossed. When a product or service is perceived as having an identifiable feature or benefit associated with the name or trademark. This could happen intentionally or by accident, in a think tank session prior to launch or on the street/by the marketplace long after.
