Fashion week is nearly half over. I’m attending my first show—Badgley Mischka. As one might surmise there’s been talk abound about the economy and Fall 2009 Fashion Week. Smaller budgets. People pulling out. Smaller guest lists. And more.

But there was good in this experience. Here’s some of what I took away.

Creativity as a mood booster in a world of harried headlines. A beautiful splash of old world elegance with a strong eye to the future. A mix of designs for day, office and nighttime glam—reflecting the reality of today’s busy woman’s life. Accessories that dazzled.
